At Stickney Dental, your care is led by Dr. Peter Stickney, a highly experienced dentist committed to providing comprehensive treatment in one convenient Ocala location. Dr. Peter G. Stickney

Dr. Peter G. Stickney has been creating healthy, confident smiles for patients in Ocala and the surrounding Central Florida communities since 2007. A graduate of the University of Florida College of Dentistry, Dr. Stickney earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree in 2000. His dedication to dentistry began even earlier, with a Bachelor of Science in Physics from Stetson University.

With more than two decades of experience, Dr. Stickney combines advanced training with a compassionate approach to provide comprehensive dental care. He has completed extensive continuing education through world-renowned programs such as The Pankey Institute, The Dawson Academy, and the Scottsdale Center for Dentistry with Dr. Frank Spear. His specialized training in CEREC technology, cosmetic dentistry, and dental implants allows him to deliver modern, patient-focused solutions—from same-day crowns and veneers to full smile makeovers.

A leader in digital dentistry, Dr. Stickney serves as a mentor with CDOCS and is a certified CEREC trainer for Patterson Dental, helping dentists across the country master cutting-edge technology. He is also a proud member of the Academy of General Dentistry, working toward Fellowship status, and an active participant in local implant and study clubs.

Beyond his professional achievements, Dr. Stickney believes strongly in giving back. Over the years, he has supported community health programs such as Habitat for Humanity, Family Health Centers, Christina’s Smile, and Kiwanis International, providing care for underserved families and children.

When he isn’t helping patients achieve their best smiles, Dr. Stickney enjoys spending time with his wife, Dr. Robin Stickney, and their son, Nathan. An avid pilot, he also loves flying and the peaceful escape it provides.
